Psalm 2:11

Title: Serve the Lord with fear

We are not to be too familiar with God, that we lose grasp of His awesome power to create and to destroy. Every step of the way, wisdom dictates a life of servitude to the Lord which is accompanied with fear for His overwhelmingly breathtaking acts that make the power of nations and peoples fragile as clay pots in His hands.

And although there is gladness for kings and subjects in worshipping the Creator, our rejoicing must not tread far from the border of a state of panic, as before the King who rules with an iron staff.
