The Gospel

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. Exodus 20:1-17

Title: The commandments

It is interesting to note that, unlike human legislation, God’s laws are never amended, revised, or rectified, to adapt to shifting times and situations. This only goes to show that not only is God unchanging in His perfection, but is also unaltered in His love for His people.

The commandments of God embody the depth of His concern for the spiritual and social welfare of a treasured possession, because by what He allows or disallows we are led to a proper relation to Himself and to all men.
