Title: You are the salt of the earth
Salt is good.
It is a good preservative.
But it is best as a flavoring agent.
Almost anything can be preserved, even bad things, but we don’t want to do that. We want to change things for the better first; we want to bring out the best in people, to cause the myriad of flavors to be added into their lives, their relationship with God and with all men. And once that has been accomplished, the good salt can now preserve what has been changed.
