Genesis 2:9

Title: The tree of the knowledge of good and evil

There was no bad tree or fruit in the garden eastward in Eden, for everything the Lord God had created was extremely good.

The problem was that man couldn’t handle the knowledge of good and evil by approaching it in rebellion by way of instant gratification of the senses.

Perception of what is good, and the fulfillment that comes along with it, can be rightly interpreted only as a reality that doesn’t stop at the senses, but is carried along by obedience to the proper resolution of objective, and in this case the possession of knowledge untainted by sin.
