The Gospel

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

2 Corinthians 6:10

Title: Possessing everything

A servant of God, one who toils in the Lord’s vineyard, is in the business of making others rich, firstly by administering to them the treasures of salvation, then this new possession is nurtured through the worker’s guidance, enabling those who are poor to shed the practices of old which has trapped them in the vicious cycle of poverty and despair, making them wise and diligent.

However, in the process of fulfilling his calling, a man of God is not to be pre-occupied with acquiring material things, beyond what is necessary for his existence, for he puts no value to what is lacking in his life materially, for he is already in possession of every provision necessary for dispensing his sacred duties, which is a righteous life: endurance, purity, understanding, patience, kindness, truthful speech in the power of the Holy Spirit of God, not to mention that the true testimony of a Christian worker is not only the preservation and continuance of the Lord Jesus’ teachings, but also the witness of His standard and way of life.
