Title: Do not merely listen to the word
As we take in the word of God, ideas are created in our minds, and these mental pictures generate an image of our selves in obedience or in defiance to what the Lord desires of us, a righteous life. The person, in whose being God’s instructions are not translated into holiness, is counted among those who have miscalculated a false likeness of security by their misleading reasoning and arguments, and so can not expect any blessing in their undertakings.
