Title: Bring back a report about the route


Any inquiry into the will of God for his people must be considerate of the reality of the dangers and sacrifices and trials that lie ahead. God’s assurance of victory in obedience to his instructions is certain, but this doesn’t mean the absence of resistance and the common tribulations of life.


The troubles that are part and parcel of life breathe triviality with God’s promise of triumph than without it.

John 18:40

Title: Give us Barabbas!


If the Lord Jesus is not King over our lives, we would be in a state of perpetual rebellion against his reign. Even our worship would be one scandalous affair of selfish intentions and heartless supplications.


We are not given a choice over the sovereignty of the Lord Jesus: we either submit to it or receive in our hands the blood for the murder of the One who was born to testify to the truth.
