A 3RD JEWISH TEMPLE WILL NOT/NEVER BE BUILT IN JERUSALEM (1)
(Those who submit to a 3rd Temple being constructed in Jerusalem
before the revelation of the Man of Sin/Lawlessness, before the Parousia of the
Lord Jesus, do not really understand God as revealed in the Scriptures or the
sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus)
To better comprehend the FALSITY of this expectation, we have to
bring to mind the purpose of the temple: centralized worship; to house the Ark
of the Covenant; a place for animal sacrifices.
What we know from the Written Word:
1) (Luke 23:45; Col. 2:14) The Aaronic priesthood and animal
sacrifice had been done way with, never to be reinstituted again, not even in
the New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:22)
2) (Heb. 9:12) The death of the Lord Jesus, the Lamb of God, was
the final sacrifice; further animal sacrifices will be an abomination to God
3) (1Cor.3:16; 2Cor.6:16) The Church is now God’s Temple
What we know from history:
1) The building housing the archives to family records had been
destroyed in 70 A.D., making it impossible for any Israelite to trace his
ancestry to the patriarchs
A Bible Student in his right mind will agree that “GOD WILL
NEVER CONTRADICT HIMSELF.”
God will never allow a Temple to be set up again in Jerusalem to
bring back animal sacrifices that had been done away with under the New
Covenant, an act that will trample upon the blood of the Lord Jesus, making a
mockery of the sacrifice of His Son, not to mention that centralized worship is
no longer viable (John 4:21), the priesthood had been abolished, and the Ark of
the Covenant is no longer extant.
This false teaching stems from the theory that the Man of
Sin/Lawlessness will reveal himself in the temple of God, which they perceive
to be the imagined Temple to be built in present-day Jerusalem (2THESS.2:4),
when the verse speaks of the Church being God’s Temple, in the bastion of
Christianity which is America.
Proponents of the Secret Pre-Tribulation, Pre Wrath Rapture
theories are waiting in vain for a Temple in Jerusalem. War is at the door.
Southwest Asia is on the brink of a nuclear conflagration. We are at the very
end of the last of days, and to wait for a temple that will take time to
construct is simply wishful thinking, if not outright stupidity since the Arabs
will not allow a Jewish edifice to stand next to the Dome of the Rock, among
other considerations, political and religious.
Again, God will not allow the reinstitution of animal sacrifices
in Jerusalem; He will not allow the blood of His only begotten Son to be
blasphemed and trampled upon.
A 3RD JEWISH TEMPLE WILL NEVER BE BUILT IN JERUSALEM (2)
Which will frustrate the popular interpretation of (2Thess.
2:4), that the Man of Sin/ Lawlessness will proclaim himself in it.
The word “temple,” as used in (2Thess.2:4) is not an edifice,
but stands for “CHRISTIANS” as the temple of God. This may mean “the leader of
a Christian nation declaring himself as God,” maybe not directly, but by his
actions and directives which will mimic the authority attributed only to God.
The phrase “the temple of God” is several times used with
reference to the Christian church: (1Cor.3:16, 1Cor.3:17; 2Cor.6:16; Eph.2:21;
Rev.3:12)

A 3RD JEWISH TEMPLE WILL NOT/NEVER BE BUILT IN JERUSALEM (3)
No temple could ever be built again in Jerusalem, simply because
no one descended from Aaron could show proof to that effect, since all the
records had been destroyed in 70 A.D.
And we all know that the priesthood was designated only to
Aaron, within the tribe of Levi; and all family records had been done away with
when the Temple and all prominent buildings in Jerusalem were set on fire, destroying
all important documents, and thus terminating the priesthood once for all.
No family record, No priesthood.
No priest, No temple.
As simple as that.
