your heart
Stop making the pursuit of basic things such as food and
clothing the main purpose of your life; in modern thinking we could add to the
list education, housing, a low fast car, pension plan, health insurance, etc.
Life is firstly spiritual.
Its tenure on earth is fixed and no amount of worrying and medical
intervention can add a minute to it.
Therefore our primary concern must be what the heart really longs for,
which is joy forevermore, and this has been promised in the kingdom, all the
spiritual benefits of the grace of sharing with the poor what we ourselves
could use.
Life is lastly spiritual.
It was destined for joy that exceeds human understanding for those who
would trust the Father God for their spiritual and physical well-being.
