No godly influence or system of receiving good things would influence the Christian to become self-indulgent or self-centered.
For every promise of blessing from the Lord, there is a corresponding appreciation that all good things from above are meant for the glory of God. Therefore the bigger picture has to include other believers in its benefits. Actually the delightful thing here is being able to channel them to other people.
