John 15:7

Title: Ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you

Isn’t if frustrating when the meaning we wanted to inject into a certain passage of Scripture turns out to be a hollow and selfish interpretation?

Firstly, we, the petitioners, have to give heed to the authoritative injunctions of the Lord Jesus, and in so doing continue in these precepts whatever the odds are, then the Lord Jesus will give us the necessary grace and opportunity and courage and strength to bear the fruit of love for other believers, since this is our wish, the proclivity of our hearts.
