Philippians 1:29

Title: It has been granted you

The Christian perspective faces the opposition squarely and doesn’t eliminate pain as part and parcel of living in a condemned world which rejects the gospel and its power unto salvation. While we may not understand it, suffering for declaring that forgiveness of sin is only by faith in the sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus is a favor accorded us in kindness and as a divine influence in our hearts will progress into a resolute appreciation that we are truly saved, and from there draw courage for days of persecution.
