Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Matthew 14:19

Title: And he directed the people to sit down on the grass


We must learn from the example that the Lord Jesus never took advantage of his power to gain a comfortable life. Most likely because the more power from God one receives, it becomes apparent that the luxuries of this world are meaningless. What beckoned the Lord to use his supremacy and command over the ordinary was a deep yearning to come to the aid of those who were following him, for the glory of God.
