The Gospel

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Matthew 10:14

Title: Whoever does not receive you

The gospel message reveals the condition of the heart and the place when the man of God presents himself as he is, a preacher of the good news, and the gospel as it is, without any embellishment, which is thought to make the message acceptable or somehow reduce opposition to it. To hide the word of God behind the veil of the promise of prosperity and healing and answered prayers is to show contempt for its power and the intention to expose what is in the heart of men.
