Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Luke 1:19

Title: I stand in the presence of God


The higher the Lord takes us up the ladder of spiritual maturity, the less predisposed are we to do things by our own volition. We become reliant on Him for even the utterance of our lips when our weaknesses, arrogance, and prejudices become apparent in view of God’s power and holiness. Progressively we arrive at the junction of faith where we hear the voice of God so clearly that we could rehearse it as if it were our own purpose and determination.
