The Gospel

Genesis 1:1

Title: In the beginning

On the timeline of events, we are observably moving away from that initial day of creation; but this doesn't indicate we are in motion farther from the Creator and the blueprint for the course of matter and life. Rather, we are heading toward the culmination of the history of redemption, when death and matter and time would be swallowed up in victory, and God would become more distinct and relevant, and the path to knowing the Lord would have been cleared of any impediment, for the timeline to revert to the newness of the initial day of creation when God was all in all.
