1 John 4:8

Title: God is love

Once for all let us settle the assertion that an all-powerful, loving God basically or logically can not be because of all the pain and suffering in life, all the miserable conditions that appear beyond His faculty to restrain. To understand this claim, and if we construe the existence of a Creator by His authority over the rueful events that plague human existence, we must also ask ourselves if we can even envisage God having the same dominance on the things and the events that define the attainment of our desires, and the fulfillment of our joys and enjoyments.
