There could be no discussion on the prospect of greatness in the kingdom of God in the absence of appreciation of the reason Jesus came in the flesh, and that God did not come in the likeness of man just to promote temporal privileges in an atmosphere free from oppression and domination by heathen rulers. And rightly so, who Jesus was and the spiritual nature of His earthly actions would be revealed only to those who have no arrogance for what is beyond their knowledge, and like a child have no yearning for power, other than the opportunity to serve.
