Matthew 6:11

Title: Give us today our daily bread

What do we possess that cater not to our daily needs? Are these within the parameter of dependence on God?

Whenever our Father would daily respond to our requirements, in most practical of terms, it is to deepen our reliance on Him for the most basic necessities of life. To sum it all up we must never reach the point where we no longer attribute our daily sustenance to the hand of the Lord but to the abundance of what we have secured for ourselves in anticipation of the future.

If that is the case then our daily request, every answer to that request, every acquisition developing from that answer, will be in keeping with the demands of a sufficiency in substance and support of body, even the spirit.
