Mark 14:7

Title: The poor you will always have with you

A deep devotion to the Lord finds its wholeness in a similar compassion and concern for the poor. These go hand in hand as a venue for ministry, and must not be set aside indirectly by communicating a “social gospel,” with the fundamental philosophy which asserts, in effect: “God wants prosperity for His children.”

Unless we address this truth which the Lord Jesus has acknowledged, as a congregation and as individual believers, we are not as yet doing everything we could.
