1 Thessalonians 5:4

Text: Like a thief in the night

The return of the Lord Jesus to this earth should not surprise Christians who long for His coming, to the point that they control their lives and it becomes a platform of piety, love, and Christian virtue, evidences of salvation. If He is bound to come stealthily like a thief in the night, it would be to the unbelieving world and to those who hide their evil deeds behind a veil of secrecy, even as to believers who persist in rejecting the counsels of the Lord.
