Title: Where were you?
We speculate on things we don’t understand, we theorize, we
formulate equations and draw graphs and charts; and sure enough we grow vain in
our own conceit.
Man was created to obey God, not to force answers out of
him, for obedience brings pure joy and initiates true worship. God has revealed to us every knowledge and
wisdom that exalts his Son, that through him our iniquities might be taken
away.
We must be satisfied with what we understand and respond to
them in obedience to the God who knows what we don’t.
To question God is tantamount to giving him advice. This must not be so for at the end of the
matter we would be proven ignorant and we would have to cover our mouths with
our hands.
Note: Covering of mouth
is acknowledgment of defeat
