The Gospel

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Matthew 28:18-20

MANY PASTORS CLAIM THAT IT IS NO LONGER PRACTICAL TO IMPLEMENT/APPLY/CARRY OUT IN THE MODERN CHURCH WHAT N.T. CHRISTIANS OBSERVED AND DID DURING THEIR TIME, IN OBEDIENCE TO THE COMMANDS OF THE LORD JESUS?

Really!???

Brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus, if there is a statement so utterly demonic that it can only originate from the bottom of the bottomless pit of hell, THIS IS IT!

My Creator and Savior and Lord and King told his disciples before ascending to heaven “TO TEACH THEM TO OBEY EVERYTHING I HAVE COMMANDED YOU,” until when?

To OBEY EVERYTHING the Lord has commanded UNTIL WHEN?

Right, UNTIL THE VERY END OF THE AGE!

UNTIL HIS “PAROUSIA” or the “SECOND COMING”.

Until the Lord Jesus returns, for crying out loud!

BEYOND 2018... until the End of the Age!

The CREATOR of the universe will never conform to the world he has merely created for himself, to its philosophies, to its reasonings, to its humanistic justifications; but it is the world that MUST conform to what the Lord says!

It is a slap to the face of God to teach the brethren that what the Lord Jesus commanded N.T. Christians, and to which they heeded and obeyed, is no longer applicable now for PRACTICAL REASONS.

I don’t care what is practical or impractical in the eyes of the world!

My concern is what the Lord says!

And what he says/commands MUST BE OBEYED until his return to earth!

Pastors, if you are truly called to preach the whole counsel of God, you will repent of this Satanic worldly reasoning.

You are rebelling against God!

REPENT!

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them TO OBEY EVERYTHING I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”]

See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces[a] of this world rather than on Christ.]

Ephesians 4:28

STEAL NO LONGER
(Ephesians 4:28)

Paul commands former THIEVES, who are now Christians, to no longer steal, but to work with their own hands; so that they will have something to eat?
No!
Paul went beyond that; and encouraged them to earn a decent living SO THAT THEY MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO SHARE WITH CHRISTIANS IN NEED!
A Christian is blessed materially so that he would have something to give/share with deserving brethren in need. And if we are not doing this, by the grace and mercy of God, we are not Christians, plain and simple.

[(Ephesians 4:28)
Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.]

Hebrews 13:5

"NEVER WILL I LEAVE YOU; NEVER WILL I FORSAKE YOU"?
(Hebrews 13:5)

In reality this should read: "NO, I will NEVER leave thee; NOT I; I will NEVER, NEVER cast thee off."

But to whom does this verse apply?

According to the Written Word of God, the Bible, it APPLIES ONLY to Christians who:
1) Have no love for money
2) Are content with what they have
Being content means NOT COMPLAINING about your present economic situation and consider it as sufficient, thanking God for His blessings. But that doesn’t mean you may not work for gain; but you work hard not because you are discontented with your present situation, rather you work for advancement so you may serve God with what more you have gathered by your labor.

God will always be by the side of the Christian who has no love for money and is content with what God has given him, that is, what he has NOW.

So be careful in quoting this verse; for if your purpose in life is to have more and more and more riches for yourself because you are not content and have complaints about your present financial status, and just for the sake of accumulating wealth, without considering sharing with deserving brethren what is over and above the satisfaction of your needs, this verse doesn’t apply to you.

[(ADAM CLARKE commentary)
There are no less than FIVE NEGATIVES in this short sentence, and these connected with two verbs and one pronoun twice repeated. To give a literal translation is scarcely possible; it would run in this way: “No, I will not leave thee; no, neither will I not utterly forsake thee.” Those who understand the genius of the Greek language, and look at the manner in which these negatives are placed in the sentence, will perceive at once how much the meaning is strengthened by them, and to what an emphatic and energetic affirmative they amount.]

Praise To The Creator And The Deliverer: Psalms (33,34,65,66,68,92,100,116,117,118,134,135)

Before anything else, in health and in illness, we must worship God in Spirit and in truth. Difficult to do sometimes, when we have problems or are sick; but is definitely much easier than being nailed to a cross.
Actually, we have life easy;
While our Saviour and Lord had a life full of sorrows and suffering.

We should be ashamed.

Yo!

Proverbs 3:27

[Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.]

(DUE, H1167: owner, husband, lord, master)

Let us consider the commentary of Adam Clarke (1760-1832) on (Prov.3:27):

(WITHHOLD NOT GOOD FROM THEM TO WHOM IT IS DUE - from the lords of it. But who are they? The poor. And what art thou, O rich man? Why, thou art a steward, to whom God has given substance that thou mayest divide with the poor. They are the right owners of every farthing thou hast to spare from thy own support, and that of thy family; and God has given the surplus for their sakes. Dost thou, by hoarding up this treasure, deprive the right owners of their property? If this were a civil case, the law would take thee by the throat, and lay thee up in prison; but it is a case in which God alone judges. And what will he do to thee? Hear! “He shall have judgment without mercy, who hath showed no mercy;” Jas_2:13. Read, feel, tremble, and act justly.)

Brethren, we are no longer the masters of whatever God has given us beyond the satisfaction of our NEEDS; prayerfully, it must be shared with deserving Christians who are wanting in food, clothing, the sick, and those in prison for their faith.

This simply means that our money is not our own; that beyond the satisfaction of our needs and that of our family’s, whatever is in our possession is no longer ours, but, instead are owned by other deserving Christians who are in need.

This is a command, and failure to comply to what God has ordered will lead to dire consequences.

Romans 8:15

Title: Abba, Father

As Christians, we are not spiritual orphans. We are not without a guide in our spiritual journey that we would wander off to be enslaved again by the fear of death and judgment.

Such confidence, that we have a father in God, a co-heir in the Lord Jesus, and everlasting life by the Spirit of God.

Revelation 21:4

Title:  He will wipe away every tear from their eyes

There is more to eternity than not dying and staying young forever and ever.  It is not merely the absence of tears, but the condition of perpetual joy.  It is not only the lack of pain, as it is the order of timeless well-being.  It is an ageless life with God in obedience to him.
